Bobby Lawrence Karate is a professional
martial arts studio recognized by the International Kung Fu and Karate
Association, the Utah Black Belt Association, and the International Kempo
Karate Institute. Bobby Lawrence has been nominated for the "Instructor
of the Year" in Black Belt magazine, he's listed in Who's Who in American
Martial Arts and he served as director of martial arts at Brigham Young
University from 1987 through 1995. He has authored a college textbook on
karate and co-authored a women's guide to self defense. He has produced
video tapes on karate training techniques and published several articles
on karate in the Punchline newsletter. He trained extensively with the
four masters: Richard J. Callahan,
Tei Fu Chen,
Mickey Fisher,
and
Ed
Parker. BBobby Lawrence has produced
many championship competitors; but ranks as his greatest martial arts achievement
teaching kids and adults how to give their lives meaning. Bobby Lawrence
has karate schools located throughout Utah and in several western states
in the United States.
