Screams of Silence

I waited for her silence
Her screams echoed in the night
My feelings of deception
Bring loss to a life-long fight
The girl just kept on screaming
And there was nothing I could do
I didn't mean to hurt her
But their love was long since due
I couldn't get her to stop screaming
She was screaming because of my mistakes
The tears of a falling soldier
And the sewing of many breaks

I couldn't tell where it was coming from
Or how many people there were
The screaming was in perfect harmony
It shrieked of bloody claws
I ran and ran as fast as I could
But I just couldn't get away
Why did I have to make those mistakes
This nightmare won't go away
