Silent Town

Her gentleness stirs inside my heart
Her gentleness makes me cry
I wish that all the people here
Could listen and just try
She wouldn't hurt a single thing
She would sit there and just cry
I wish that all the people here
Could study her reply

As I wondered about this silent town
And why no cries are heard
I saw a lone man get shot down
And get trampled in a herd
I decided to help this lone man
But he quickly told me "NO"
I saw a lone man get shot down
He just laid there, growing old
I wondered what happened to this silent town
And why no cries are heard
I wandered what happened to this silent town
And why no one's concerned
