Our lives are far from perfect 
And our minds may not be clean 
But I know that He does love you 
This I truly mean 
When you know your life is something 
But love jumps in the way 
Listen to your Father 
Search, ponder, and pray 
Sometimes "love" is of the devil 
For it can con you each new day 
And sometimes things may happen 
And you find your soul will pay 
The temptations may be to hard for you 
And you're not sure what to say 
Fold your arms and close your eyes
